Kinder-Ventures: Eid el Adha Crafts + Eid party

Eid Mubarak everyone!!

Its that time of the year again and I wanted to share our Kindergarten Hajj/Eid activities at school.

 

we made these little Ka’abas out of tiny milk cartons, black paper and gold ribbon. So adorable. 20131011-133132.jpg

Also made these little sheep crafts out of cotton balls, googly eyes and red fuzzy wires (forgot their name)

For the Eid party, there was tons of candy, cake and sweets. I made ma3moul to bring with me as well.

This is called Candy Rain. The kids take turn sitting under the blanket while the teachers throw candy on the top and it falls through the holes, thus candy rain! All this while saying “Labayk Allahoma Labayk” as the Pilgrims would do around the Ka’aba.

The gift exchange table, each kids brings a wrapped gift and they exchange them around with the other kids. How fun !

Outside the school building, they had two baby goats. how adorable!

All in all, kids had a blast. Happy Eid yall.
